Your Buddy Trip at Ballyhack

A bucket list stay and play destination in Virginia.

Ballyhack Golf Club delivers everything you need for a bucket list buddy trip: competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. Stay in the Owner’s Cottage, nestled between holes 12 and 13, for the ultimate home base. This cottage features two levels, stellar views, and quick access to snacks and drinks for a mid-round pit stop. The lower level of the Owner’s Cottage includes everything you need for fun: a pool table, golf simulator, TVs, beverages, and poker. In the evenings, gather around the cottage fire pit to swap stories and relive the day's best shots.

Experience the par-3 Goat Trak for quick, fun wagering holes, and take advantage of the practice facilities to sharpen your skills before teeing off. Forecaddies will keep the energy high and your game on point.

Impress your buddies with these tips from Head Golf Pro Matt Bevan on how to navigate Ballyhack’s legendary slopes like a pro before you even tee off.

Don’t miss the Golf Shop, stocked with everything from unique hats, headcovers, and limited-edition gear that will spark conversations long after your trip. Remember to grab a goat plush toy as the perfect “guilt gift” to take home.

Whether your group is seeking bragging rights or a leisurely, scenic round, Ballyhack adapts to your vibe, ensuring every moment is remarkable.

Cap off the night back at your cottage with a fire pit hangout, a game of poker, or a cigar session under the stars. With wet bars, breathtaking views, and plenty of space to lounge, the cottages are made for unwinding in style.

Your Business Trip at Ballyhack

Entertain clients with ease on the golf course.

Ballyhack is uniquely suited to corporate hospitality and executive retreats. The club is conveniently located near ROA Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (10 miles), FBO at Signature ROA / Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (10 miles), and RDU Raleigh-Durham International Airport (142 miles).

The property features meeting spaces, such as the Board Room (accommodating up to 16 people), equipped with ClickShare wireless conference technology. The Executive and Owner’s Cottages, with dining tables seating 8 and 12 respectively, offer a warm, work-friendly atmosphere. Staff can assist with creating meeting layouts, audiovisual setups, and private dining options tailored to your agenda. This allows your group to host morning strategy sessions before seamlessly transitioning to tee time, a feature that makes Ballyhack an efficient environment for client engagement. For companies aiming to combine client entertainment, team building, and productive downtime, a golf trip to Ballyhack checks every box.

Enjoy quiet, peaceful rounds of golf with 15-minute tee times and forecaddies. If your group prefers a shorter, more approachable route than the full 18-hole, the par-3 Goat Trak is a great option.

With onsite lodging and preassigned rooms, travel stress is minimized. Private cottages and the clubhouse provide a relaxed, premium setting to host clients—exclusive without the pretense. Each cottage features a common area and private master suites, so everyone enjoys comfort and personal space. This cottage-based downtime transforms hospitality into relationship capital.

Food and beverage elevate the experience even further, with a 600-bottle temperature-controlled wine cellar and chef Tanner Sorenson’s Appalachian-inspired menus creating dining moments as powerful for business as any meeting.
