Bucket-List Events Only Dormie Network Membership Unlocks

There’s a reason you won’t find experiences like these at your typical country club. While many memberships offer the standard member-guest event—a round of golf, a happy hour, and maybe a logoed divot tool—Dormie Network has built something entirely different. A calendar of curated experiences that feel less like golf tournaments and more like bucket-list adventures with your favorite people.

Every event is curated to make participants feel immersed, indulged, and completely at home—while leaving with stories that will last a lifetime. With around 20 events hosted across Dormie Network’s portfolio of clubs each year, the Network has mastered the art of blending serious competition with serious fun. No matter your skill level, every participant walks away with unforgettable memories, new bonds, and a reminder of why golf is always better when paired with genuine hospitality.

What Makes Dormie Network Events Unique

From the moment you arrive on property, the Dormie Network experience feels different. The club services team greets you, unloads your bags, and delivers them straight to your preassigned cottage. You step into a welcoming clubhouse, beverage in hand, ready to meet old friends and make new ones. After a welcome dinner, you retreat to your cottage and find a personal note and a new headcover waiting for you.

The next morning, your personal golf cart for the duration of the event greets you with branded golf balls and a fresh hat. At the range, you get warmed up with the option of a complimentary massage before teeing off. By evening, you’re seated with new friends over a chef-prepared dinner that could rival any high-end steakhouse. And the next day? You get to do it all over again, at one of the most stunning, top-ranked courses in the country.

That’s just one example of the kind of hospitality Dormie Network is known for. Every event is different, with its own surprises, local flavor, and curated touches—but that same sense of thoughtful detail and luxury carries through every experience.

Key Features of Dormie Network Events

Curated Experiences Beyond Golf

Golf may be the centerpiece, but Dormie Network events go far beyond the scorecard. Between rounds, members step into a world of curated, one-of-a-kind experiences that transform a tournament into a true bucket-list getaway. You might recover from a day on course with a hydration IV, or keep the competition alive with glow-in-the-dark golf. One evening might feature live country music from artists like Scotty McCreery, while another ends beneath a sky lit with fireworks over the Nebraska plains at ArborLinks

At Hidden Creek’s Ladies Member-Guest, guests enjoyed a culinary demonstration with Chef Jeffrey Parenty. At Briggs Ranch’s Texas Legends event, guests cheered on a boxing match in the clubhouse. The beauty of it all? No two events are the same, yet everyone feels distinctly Dormie—effortlessly blending luxury, camaraderie, and fun.

Onsite Lodging Convenience

One of the biggest perks of Dormie Network events? The convenience of never having to leave during the event. Each Dormie Network destination features onsite lodging—roughly 60 beds across regionally inspired cottages that blend local charm with luxurious comfort.

There’s no scrambling to off-site hotels, no worrying about designated drivers. You’re just steps away from everything: your private master suite, the clubhouse, the course, and the post-round celebration. No logistics—just an uninterrupted experience where your only responsibility is to have an unforgettable time.

Chef-Prepared Dining

Throughout every Dormie Network event, food is treated as a central element of the experience—not an afterthought. Chef-prepared meals showcase local flavors and culinary creativity, elevating every moment from breakfast through dinner.

Mornings might begin with fresh omelettes crafted to order, while evenings wind down with your favorite cocktails by the fire pit, all set against breathtaking surroundings. The culinary experience might look like: made-to-order tacos at Briggs Ranch, a lobster bake at Hidden Creek with Chef Jeffrey Parenty, hand-tossed gnocchi at GrayBull Club with Chef Joey Falco, or a legendary barbeque spread at Dormie Club.

Here, dining is more than sustenance—it’s a key part of the bucket-list experience.

Premium Gifting for All Participants

No Dormie Network event would be complete without thoughtful, memorable gifts. Each Dormie Network club has a dedicated merchandise manager who curates gifts. Event winners receive custom gifts that commemorate their achievement, from engraved wood plaques to belt buckles and trophies shaped after iconic club symbols.

But the best part? Everyone goes home with high-end gifts from top golf and lifestyle brands. These are often customized to the event, making them one-of-a-kind mementos. You might receive a handcrafted leather bag tag, a glass bourbon decanter with a club logo etched on it, or even a fitting for pants. Some events offer curated shopping experiences with top brands like B. Draddy or Greyson, letting participants choose the merchandise they love.

At this year’s GrayBull Canteen event, participants left with custom wine glasses and a bottle, exclusive Greyson Microsite items, Canteen-branded golf balls, a G-Tech hand warmer and beanie, a Greyson cashmere sweater bar, and a Canteen driver headcover. At the Seaside Member-Guest, participants received a Hidden Creek G/Fore hat, headcover, shot glasses, custom MyJoy FootJoy Premieres, and event-branded koozies.

Each gift reinforces the care and creativity that make Dormie Network events truly exceptional.

Regional Charm

Dormie Network events reflect the regional character of its host club, giving every event experience a unique flavor. Flights, trophies, and activities all tie into the club’s distinct charms:

  • ArborLinks - Nebraska City: ArborLinks celebrates Nebraska’s agricultural heritage with authentic Midwestern events like the Harvester Member-Guest. Think corn-eating contests, corn-shaped trophies, cornhole, and more ties to Nebraska's farming roots.

  • Ballyhack - Roanoke, Virginia: Ballyhack leans into its mountain course with events like the Spring Hackfest and Fall Hackfest—a clever play on the club’s name—and the Turkey Tough Day in November. You’ll see plenty of nods to the course’s friendly groundskeeping goats at events. Winners are often awarded framed photographs of this breathtaking course.

Briggs Ranch - San Antonio, Texas: Briggs Ranch delivers true Texas-sized experiences with the Texas Legends Member-Guest and Round Up Member-Guest. From custom cowboy hats to cigar making, live country music, every detail embodies Hill Country hospitality. And, naturally, winners often wear a trophy belt buckle home.

  • Dormie Club - West End, North Carolina: Dormie Club hosts the Flagship Member-Guest, the event that reflects its role as the namesake and cornerstone of the Dormie Network. Trophies here could come in the shape of the iconic Dormie Network tee, symbolizing the club's foundational role in the Network.

  • GrayBull Club - Maxwell, Nebraska: GrayBull celebrates ranch country with events like the Cattle Drive and Canteen, which honors the North Platte Canteen. These gatherings embrace “Nebraska Nice” to its core.

  • Hidden Creek - Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey: Hidden Creek offers coastal competition at events like the 24-Hour Seaside Shootout, Seaside Member-Guest, and Shore Member-Guest. Flights at the recent Seaside Member-Guest honored notable New Jersey icons, including Sinatra, Gandolfini, Bon Jovi, Willis, and Houston.

  • Victoria National - Newburgh, Indiana: Victoria National, known as one of America’s toughest courses, but brings Hoosier hospitality with the Collier Classic and Victorian Cup, showcasing Southern Indiana. The course itself is built on a former strip coal mine, paying homage to the region’s mining heritage—colliers, after all, are coal miners.

Event Structure and Participation

Dormie Network hosts about 20 events each year across its seven private clubs, each designed to capture the spirit of its host location. Some are member-member formats; others are member-guest, and all are structured to encourage both competitive play and genuine connection. Each club hosts two or more events per year. Since Dormie Network’s private golf clubs are located across the country, events happen year-round. That means you can escape a winter chill to enjoy Briggs Ranch in Texas or experience coastal breezes at Hidden Creek.

Events typically span one to four days. Participants are grouped into flights, ensuring balanced competition, and there’s even a dedicated ladies’ event. Teams are paired with a caddie, even with your name on their caddie bib, to help you play your best and have a great time on the course. Field sizes are intentionally limited, both to preserve the intimacy of each event and to guarantee accommodations for every participant. Entry is via a lottery system, and only Dormie Network members are eligible to enter the event lotteries. If you're not a member yet, you can request an invitation to join Dormie Network.
