Lodging at Briggs Ranch Golf Club: What to Expect

Briggs Ranch Golf Club | San Antonio, Texas

The massive iron gate greets you at Briggs Ranch, but once you drive past the Spanish-styled clubhouse and hook right to pass the lit putting green, the casitas are what truly bring you home.

With 60 master suites on-site across 15 casitas, year-round golf retreats are back on the menu (San Antonio winters boast highs in the 60s and 70s—better tee-time temps, we’ve never seen). The casita styling mirrors that of the clubhouse, with Spanish-style tiling throughout and a terra-cotta roof surrounded by honey mesquite trees, evergreen Texas live oaks, and flowering Indian Hawthorn.

You’ll find the casitas nestled into the tree line near the starting holes, within walking distance of the clubhouse. Stepping inside, you’re greeted by classic Southwestern accents, lounge great room, wet bar stocked with a variety of snacks and drinks, and a walk-out patio on which to relax after wrapping up a match.

When you stay at Briggs Ranch, you’ve got your choice of 10 Dormie casitas, four Executive with a larger dining area and steam showers, and one Ranch House with elevated spaces for work and play. We recommend the Executive or the Ranch House if you’re entertaining clients (the board/dining table seats 10), and remember to ask about the casitas on the shared Hacienda Patio for large groups!

Whichever casita you choose, you’ll find high-end amenities, private dining options, and a concierge on site to help you make the most of your trip. Your own private casita a short golf cart ride away makes the perfect spot for teambuilding, family time, or a private retreat.

Arguably the most laid-back of Dormie Network’s collection of clubs, Briggs Ranch is representative of the San Antonio experience. Downtown is a mere 25 minutes away, so it’s easy to take advantage of the city’s tourist attractions and local haunts.
